Meal Plans

In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans for the 2017-2018 academic year.  If you need to purchase a meal plan, or if you would like to make a change to the plan you have already selected, simply contact us at (970) 870-4420.

Meal Plans

All students living in residential student housing are required to purchase a meal plan. A meal plan is equal to meals per week.  Due to the small cost difference between meal plans, we recommend that you choose the larger plan so that you don’t run out of meals.  Flex points  are a dollar value to be used at the Black Diamond Cafe.
  • 19 Meal Plan /semester- $2161.00 Per Semester
    19 meals a week and $100 in Flex

  • 14 Meal Plan /semester- $2161.00 Per Semester
    14 meals a week and $300 in Flex

Off Campus Meal Plans

Voluntary meal plans are a great way to save time and money!  Voluntary meal plans are open to anyone not required to purchase a 14 or 19 meal plan. Block 10 and 25 meal plans can carry over from Fall to Spring Semester but expire at the end of the Spring term.  Flex dollars expire at the end of each semester.  Plans can be purchased at any time during the semester.

  • Block 10/ $10 Flex: $72.00

  • Block 25: $165.50  

  • Block 25/ $25 Flex: $185.50  

Flex dollars may be purchased by students in increments of $10, $25, $100, & $275

Dining Policies

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Cups, dishes, and silverware may not be removed from the dining area
  • Food and Beverage are only available during hours of operation.  No outside food and beverage is allowed in the dining area.  Food and Beverages are to be consumed in dining area only.
  • Please present your meal card (CMC card) to the Host/Hostess for payment.  If you have misplaced your card please make arrangements to receive another card.
  • Please be respectful of your fellow guests and dining service staff
  • You are welcome to bring guests to dine with you.  Please not that your meal plan only covers food for yourself and only once during a meal period.  This includes sharing of your plate.  There is one swipe per meal period
  • Your meal plan is a bulk rate plan.  You pay for the opportunity to eat any meal that you are present for.  Please note your plan does not cover individual meals you do not attend, therefore there is no reimbursement for unused meals.
  • While dining with us we want you to enjoy the food and atmosphere.  If you decide to leave and rejoin later during the meal period you may be required to pay upon re-entry.
Important Info

Seconds Policy
You never have to be too shy to ask for seconds with our Campus Dining Program.  Our generous policy allows for a second helping of many menu favorites.  All you have to do is ask!  Please note, however, that there are some exceptions to our Seconds Policy including: Steak nights or other special theme dinners where the main entrée is limited to one portion per person.
